Darshan Mahajan: Caring for Generations of Lorain County Residents and Northeastern Ohio since 1981
Darshan Mahajan, MD completed his neurology residency training at the University of Cincinnati where he gained additional experience in neurophysiology (electroencephalography, electromyography, and evoked potentials). In 1981 he began his neurology practice in Lorain County, and he has been board certified since 1983. Dr. Mahajan is the founder of Neurology Center, Incorporated, and is passionate about neurology and providing quality care to patients.

Over the years he has enhanced the practice of neurology in hospitals within Lorain County including University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center (previously Elyria Memorial Hospital), Specialty Hospital in Amherst, and Mercy Regional Medical Center in Lorain. He is a former Chairman of Medicine as well as a former President of the Medical Staff at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. Dr. Mahajan has also contributed to the medical community at large by serving on the State Medical Board of Ohio from 2008-2013. From 2012-2013 he was the President of the State Medical Board of Ohio.
